Meet Stephen
I'm here to help you align your finance and accounting teams with operations so you improve communications and better execute your business strategy.
Additionally, I am passionate about developing Finance Leaders, so they can have a greater impact in their organizations. Role does not matter!
Stephen is a Retired U.S. Army Finance Officer who completed four overseas deployments, served with NATO, and on the Army Staff at the Pentagon.
After retiring from the Army, Stephen worked with corporate finance and accounting helping them solve tough problems, fixing essential systems, and improving key processes.

Finance Leader Academy was founded by Stephen McLain, who is also the Host of The Finance Leader Podcast.
Stephen believes in the importance of leadership on a team. Leaders set the pace and direction of the organization and uphold the culture and values of the team as a whole.
Without strong, yet compassionate leadership, an organization will fail to compete in the complicated marketplace we have.
